This is not a question, just posting this so other may find it.
Subassembly composer 2012 is installed and working well, after opening an older PKT file you start getting an error on all new or old files opened, ArgumentOutOfRange (see image). I started getting this error after opening the example file API_Function_Examples.pkt found on the Subassembly Composer WIKI page.
Opening, closing, restarting computer will not reset this issue.
Solution: Open any PKT -> you will get error, ignore it -> hit the "Fit to Screen" button on your Preview Panel -> save PKT -> Close and reopen Subassembly composer and the error should no longer appear.
