Structure Label Plan View Dragged State Location Override, Stop Jumping

I would like to keep my Pipe Network Structure Labels as view in plan view from jumping from one side to the other of the structure when dragged.  I have the dragged state leader visibility turned off, and would also like to turn off the leader related behavior of the label. In the image below I am trying to drag the label to a location below the structure it is annotating, but the label jump to the right (to make room for the invisible leader).  I would like to turn this functionality off.

 

I love me some C3D labels, they save me time and typos, but I am starting to lean back toward MTXT or TEXT for their mobility

I couldnt' find a good way to accomplish what you're looking for when the dragged state is set to 'Stacked text'.  It did work though when set to 'As Composed'.  Make that change in your label style and hopefully that will give you some better results.
