Strange SITE name

Anyone ever seen a mystery site like this?

This alignment and the others in this drawing were created on <None> site.

Yes.  We have seen the text pop up in sites, feature lines, label styles.  There are also instances where some styles show *error* for their anchor point instead of feature.

It seems to act like a virus since we are seeing it more and more across our firm.  We also sent drawings to Autodesk and they confirmed that they are seeing it in their drawings as well.  It doesn't seem to be hurting anything yet.

Oddly enough, the wording looks German.  If you put it into google you get "vollfüllung geschwindigkeits" which translates to "full-speed filling".

Looks like a copy and paste to me.  Not good.

I see this for all of my feature lines in 2013 I believe since the last update. No copy/pasting required.

Yes, after further review I am seeing this on all my feature lines also.

I don't have Subscription access yet in the new job Randy. Any chance you have already created a support incident?

We have seen this as well, and we opened a support case when we first noticed it a few weeks ago.  Autodesk support basically said "we know about this and there is no known fix".  I further inquired about wblock, because that seems to make the problem go away, and their response was basically that they can't say whether wblock is fixing the underlying problem or just hiding it.  YIKES!

Out of curiosity do you have this one too? Note the **error**. This started to happen at about the same time as the FLine issue.

Yes I do see that **error** also.

BTW: Here is the response on the support ticket I opened.

Thank you for choosing Autodesk Support. It seems that this is known issue reported to development earlier. It appears that this happens to one bad drawing and every drawing opened after it in the same session of AutoCAD. The only way to resolve it is to close and re-open AutoCAD. At this point I have logged this with Development for further review and I have linked this case to it. Based on the developer’s notes it may affect alignments, feature lines, and other aecc objects and it seems like it is benign.

And now I have noticed that referenced alignment names are some seemingly random string instead of the actual name.

Yikes!

Doesn't sound benign when that large project hits the 90% completion point and many dialogs are overcome by random naming of C3d Object data.
Not sure how one could keep all that straight?
Is this issue limited to the 2013 version?

You can add pipes and structures to the list. I saw these pop up in a part family properties dialog.
