Strange Problem of DXF files in Survey Controller

Greetings.

We are facing a strange problem with these files loaded as dxf files in a Survey Controller of Trimble. The drawing is originally prepared in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011. We have a list of Co-ordinates for the corners, also loaded to these Survey Controllers.
In specific locations as marked on the drawing, the objects are shifted from their true positions by about 50 Cm. on the display screen. The Coordinates are plotting correctly. Other objects are showing in their true position.
Can some one investigate the causes and revert to me please.
Thanks

Hi sbd123,

If these objects are showing fine in Civil 3D drawing then I would suggest you check teh settings on Trimble. It seems that either drawing units, scaling or block scaling is not correct (things equivalanet to INSUNITS, point origin in AutoCAD). Not being familiar with Trimble I would make sure these 3 items are set as they are in Civil 3D.

I found the answer to the problem. 1. There were some blocks that needed to be purged. I did that. 2. I exploded all blocks in the drawing file, then saved as *.dxf file. The results became alright. Thanks for your help. -- Seshagiri 0097150 6999602
