Stacked Tables mess

Hi all,

Has anyone run into the problem where is you have stacked tables any they
overlap in layout tab? Here's what I do to reproduce this MANY times over:

I have a layout with my plan. I used the 3D FREE ORBIT to graphically see
what I wanted the plan to be rotated to. I have my tables generated in model
space and I want to make an additional viewport of just those tables.

1. In layout tab, I make a new viewport.
2. I DVIEW TWIST the viewport to zero so that the tables come in properly.
3. I set the viewport to the desired scale (1"=100'). All looks good so far.
4. I do a REGENALL and now the tables all overlap each other!

I played with the spacing between tables which didn't seem to help. On a
side note, if you have the view in a different twist scale, the tables are
all stepped from each other. Strange! So if anyone has any words of
encouragement, I'd love to hear from you.

All,

I am going to send multiple message with pics (since the overall file size
is too large to attach). Perhaps someone else can see if it does it for
them:

PIC 1 shows the tables generated in model space all looks good here..

PIC 2 shows the model space in a viewport and that viewport was rotated by
using the 3D FREE ORBIT command.

PIC 3 shows the tables inserted into paperspace. Notice that they are all
stepped from each other. And the step value is the rotation angle of the
main drawing.

PIC 4 shows the same as PIC3 except I simpply did a REGENALL. Notice the
real mess with the tables!

OK, so I decided to try to get the view of the site off of rotation by doing
a DVIEW TWIST 0. I then made a new viewport for for the tables, regened and
all is fine now!!

I'm wondering if the 3D FREE ORBIT command does things differently than
doing a DVIEW TWIST? I don't seem to remember having any problems with this
when I did the plan in a DVIEW TWIST. I learned about the 3D FREE ORBIT at
AU in Lucy Kuhn's class.
