Is there a way to add a random spot elevation on a pipe run in plan view?

Hi,

Yes.

If you asked a clearer question, you could get a more useful answer.

I would say he was wanting a spot (invert) elevation over a pipe line in a
plan view.

ok... how do you place a random spot elevation along a pipe run in plan view that represents the invert elevation at the specified point?

B-man:
It doesn't appear that you are getting much response. I normally use 2
vertical views when I am working on pipes, one for plan and one for profile.
You probably noticed that if you hover over the pipe invert line in the
profile view, your station and elev.'s appear next to the cursor.
Works pretty nice if you just need a few.
