Split Volume Calculations

I'm working on a parking lot expansion that is built into a grassed hill. The existing parking lot area needs to be excavated down for proposed granular fill. I only have ONE existing ground surface and have created ONE grading surface for the entire parking lot and now my boss would like me to sepearted the volume calculations between the "hill  area" and the "existing parking lot area" (for tender purposes). How would one go about doing this? I hope all this makes sense. I've attached a sketch to give you some what of an idea.

Thanks for the feedback but maybe I wasn't to clear on what I was asking because I know how to compare 2 surfaces from one another, also, how to create surface banding. What my boss would like is 2 SEPERATED volumes. 1. red zone on sketch (All Gravel) 2. blue zone on sketch (All Dirt). The reason why he wants 2, is so the contractor who is bidding the job can price the areas seperately because excavating compacted gravel is more time consuming then excavating loose dirt. What I am having difficulty with is, I have 1 parking lot grading surface that needs to split along the boundary of gravel and dirt.

Also, A tender is a package of work or drawings being distributed to contractors so they can bid a job.

As Joe said, bounded volumes...

Draw polygons around the 2 areas you want the separate volumes for.
