Spiral Curve Spiral Between 2 Curves

I have 2 intersecting alignments which happen to be 2 large curves right in
the intersection. I am trying to fit a spiral-curve-spiral between them and
I'm getting strange results. I've attached an image showing what I want the
finished component to look like. I've tried all the spiral / compound /
reverse combinations, but can't get it to work. Can anyone fit a spiral
like this? If so, would you be so kind as to explain, or even send me a
dwg?

I don't think Civil 3D can do what you're looking for. All the spiral
routines I tried won't solve when the arcs intersect. I created a drawing
for some training a while back that has an example of every spiral fit type,
see attached. Note that the multiple curve ones don't intersect or cross.

Actually, you can do this...

1. Put down the first big curve
2. Put down the small curve in the middle,
3. Use a reverse spiral between the big curve and the small curve. It won't
work with a single free spiral, but it will work with the free reverse
spiral.
4. add the second large curve
5. add another free reverse spiral.
