Smart surface triangulation

Hi friends,

I have one cross section, which gets narrow over the particular length.

(C/S : Elliptical roof surface)

In the region where cross section changes, triangulation becoming weired. If we edit surface with swape edge command then it will be ok.

I have attached both the images before and after swapping for ref.

Can we do this by dyanamically ? as I have number of areas like this.

Where is the data coming from, and in what form are you adding it to the surface? Is it contours, or points? You will get better results if you can add your data as breaklines.

I concur with troma. the befor image is showing data points in the TIN and the triangle want to go to the nearest point. Weed out the unwanted data or add a break line

Hi,

Now I have added feature lines to surface definition, that works perfect. Thanks for remembering basics of triangulation.
