Sheet Set numbering

I am a new user to Civil 3d 2010 and i want to know if any of you fellow cad nerds can help me. I have a total number of sheets, say 50 and I want to put in my title block this total number as a field ( ie 1 of 50, 2 of 50 ....). I would appreciatt it greatly.

Two options that I know of

1) Create a custom property in your sheet set manager that belongs to the sheet set (not the individual sheets). You can then add a field in your title block to this. You can also add all project specific information that will be displayed in your title block this way.

2) Create a drawing for your title block with all the project specific information in it and then xref this drawing into each layout.

I'm kind of partial to the first option myself because I can then reference that information elsewhere in the project.

Brian's first option is the best in my opinion.

If all 50 sheets are in the same drawing (50 layouts) (I would not recommend
this) you can add a dwg property and grab that in a field.
