Have you tried going to alignment properties, intersection point tab and at the implied intersecton point display option, check either 'By change in alignment direction' or 'By individual curves and curve groups'

Why are you replying to a thread that is 6 years old? Your solution is not possible with Civil 3D back then. Also, there's another option to Solve PI which would solve the issue today.
