DEAR SIR I INSTALLED AUTO CAD CIVIL 3D 2009 BUT WHICH EVER SHORT COMMANDS I TYPE USING KEYBOARDS SAYS UN KNOW COMMAND SUCH AS L,M,PL...ETC, SO PLEASE REPLY BACK THE SOLUTION.THANK YOU

Express>Tools>Command Alias Editor will give you the options to edit acad.pgp file. This is the file that stores command aliases. Check if your commands are present in there. Other thank that you may try going into CUI editor and reset C3D.CUI. (Type CUI in command line, in Customize tab, right click on CIVIL and choose Reset C3D.CUI).

It seems that your user profile setting is messed up. The shortcut for resolution may be to reinitiate secondary installer to reset it back to default:
