SENDING OUT A DRAWING

I drew a topo with contours and breaklines. some of it I had to draw manually. some of it was auto drawn. when I give the drawing to another user the point data, auto drawn linework and contours are missing. is there a way to make sure they get all of the info.

What software is the other person using? What version of Civil 3D are you using?

I am using c3d 2012. they are using c3d 2011 with eagle point. they are taking my drawing and inserting it into theirs. they wanted to check it out before sending it to a third party. im not sure what said 3rd party is using.

OK. Civil 3D 2012 objects will not work in Civil 3D 2011. Your best bet is EXPORTTOAUTOCAD. That will explode all the Civil 3D objects to AutoCAD entities.

Why not send them a LandXML surface of what you have done?
