Hi. Im using this great tool in complex highway projects.
What is the best workflow to change/update subassembly in SAC, and re-import to C3D?
Why this wonderful tool still not part of Civil 3D? We rarely use preinstalled subassemblies since SAC was produced.
But have always to do import from SAC to Civil3D.
It is part of Civil 3D. Comes with 2013.
Peter Funk has something you can try to update. I have not tried it.
Thank you for reply.
I'd already read that post before, but solution described there to my mind is too long to operate.
Every time close/ start new C3D from scratch then import.
Yes, in C3D 2013 there is SAC tool, but its not part of C3D, because we have to do Import/Export via .PKT files.
It would be nice, if cooperation level between C3D and SAC become higher, and we could run SAC inside C3D,
and modify/update subassemblies inside C3D without that annoying import/export procedure.
The best solution for me - if SAC is the main subassembly editor in C3D, and also current way of making assemblies kept just for beginners.
