Right click options not applying Civil 3d

In 2011 Civil 3d, is there a lock on the options for setting the right mouse button.

We have a drafter trying to set, she hits apply, and they go back to the way they were before.

OPTIONS - Right mouse - check the boxes Hit apply boxes go back to the way they were before.

No definite answers here, but maybe check the user's security rights.  Try running AutoCAD as Administrator, (right click icon on desktop > Run as Administrator) then see if the options hold.

I don't know.... just grasping at straws....I've not seen this before.
