Really: "You cant be serious" - Out of Memory C3d 2013 Cogo points

Working on a 2013 file containing about 180 Cogo points and had an out of memory error. Three drawings open (two autocad ones) and Outlook open.

Not unusual you say. it stated the full 32 Gb of ram was being used? How can this be.2013 Civil3d all latest service packs etc. Not even enough memory to print the screen.

More on this: I have reproduced this error: If I add points then undo and select the table entity the memory useage increases to the system max value then it dumps without CER.

There have been a few reports on memory leaks in 2013. They often seem to involve grading objects or 3rd party add-ons. Can you replicate the error or was this a one time thing?

My next suggestion would have been to submit a support request. So you beat me to it. Hope they can help you.

Its a Bug:

1. Open file and select a table
2. Add elements to table and select points
3. Unselect table and UNDO
4. Everything is ok

5. But - when selecting the table now the computer freezes.

So don't use addtotable if you may have to undo.
