I have a tds raw file that I would like I would like to import into a new c3d drawing. I've tried and tried to convert it using the program inside of c3d, but to no avail.
Could someone that knows how to do this effectively convert it for me if I would email it to you??
Thanks a bunch!
The method is hardly elegant, but you'd convert the RAW file to RW5, the RW5 to CR5, and then the CR5 to User-Defined ASCII. RAW offers few direct conversions.
I have found that method on an older thread, but I can't execute it. For some reason survey data link won't find the file after I convert to .rw5.
Can you post the RAW fle here? I'll take a look.
I tried in my original post, but evidently a .raw file isn't an allowed file format for attachments. I can email it to you?
You can send me an email to jeremiah.mcdowell@oh.nacdnet.net and you won't even have to make your email public. 😉
Can you convert it to an FBK file?
Even if you did GPS it will still be an NEZ file.
Also, if you have the .job file from the Data Collector, that can be imported to NEZ rather quickly.
Look at the Survey Link - import export job.
