As seen in the attachments, I am trying to crop an image. When I do, a black portion of the old photo still remains. This is for some pamphlets and having this black region around the photo looks kinda silly. Anybody know how to get rid of these black regions around a photo after cropping?
While waiting for a repose I figured out my own problem.
Under the raster tools, select 'Create Region" and draw a polygon around the part of the photo you want removed (for me it was the black areas around my croped region).
After you have you polygon made, click enter so solidify your polygon. Lastly, just select the region polygon you created and delete it. This gets rid of any excess that the cropping feature can't/won't delete.
