ROTATING INDIVIDUAL POINTS

Is there a way to rotate a certain point(s) with the rotate comand? The only way I have found to do this is by clicking on a point, waiting for the grips to pop up and then rotating it with the round grip... Very tedious.... There must be some sort of setting I'm not seeing.

You could click on the point(s) and use the
properties to set rotation. If you have a large group, consider making a group
out of the one(s) you want to rotate. Then move that group to the top and hove
_No Points just below it so that that group is only visible. THEN, you can
windows all and use the properties command to rotate them.

That is the only workaround I know of. I'm sure
others will chime in.

Jeff Mishler wrote a routine that does this; it should turn up in a search of this forum (or maybe the C3D Customization forum).

He also re-wrote the routine and donated it as part of the Sincpac-C3D, and it is available as the ROTATEMARKERS command in the Free Edition of that - simply download and install, and get that Free command, plus many other useful Free commands:

right click on a point... select similar if that works as in all points on the layer for ground shots... right click on one of them.. select edit points.. "ctrl a" to select all... rotation is on the far right.. right click on the top.. rotation tab select edit.. edit them all at the same time by typing a rotation angle...or yes.. single point.. properties...
