Purging/deleting unused styles

I've been adding to a copy of our template and have imported and modified
styles throughout. Some styles show as having dependancies even though
there is nothing left in the dwg for them to rely on. This makes them
unable to be deleted. Is there a way to hard purge unneeded styles?

Not that I know of but you can delete the Standard Style & rename the
offending style Standard. You can the edit the Standard Style as you need.
