Prospector Max Sort

Normally I expect the items in a group such as assemblies to be alphabetized.  I am taking over a project with a lot of assemblies (41) and they aren't alphabetized.  Is there a max sort variable for the prospector?

Most of the assembles are not in use, but since I am taking over the project I am hesitant to delete them until I know why they were abandoned.

I've never had assemblies display in alphabetical order.

In your Item view you can select the Name column to sort them by name.  Then you can right click on Assemblies in the Prospector and choose Refresh.

In what order do yours show?  Chronological?|

In alphabetical order after I sort them by name.

Did you get it to work?

Todd, I can get them in order in the item view, but in the Prospector tree they never change. I should note that this is in C3D2012. Newer versions may work correctly.

Looks like you have to collapse it, then expand it to show up.  Kinda buggy.  See below...

Ah, yes. Collapse/expand does bring into submission. I love it! It's only 9:14 a.m. on Monday and I've already learned a new trick for the week. Guess I can take the rest of the week off! 🙂 Thanks, Todd.

Kinda? After getting them to display in alphabetical order, I switched to another open drawing to do some work there. When I returned to the corridor drawing and the Toolspace refreshed the assemblies were all back in the jumbled (likely chronological) order. <shrug> Oh well, at least I know I can get them ordered when needed.
