Projected COGO points grips missing on plan

Hi there,

I am having a hard time with projected COGO points. I need to insert COGO points along the geometry points of an alignment, then project them on its relevant profile view. That works fine. The issue comes if I try to drag the point label on plan view. The grip is gone. If I remove the point from the projection, the grip is back. I do need to drag the labels as I need to display their leaders from their dragged state component. I don't want to remove the projection of all points, since I have almost a 100, and then project them again. Any idea how to get the grip back?

I have attached a couple of images illustrate.

Thanks for your help.
