Profiles for electric and comm

Is everyone providing separate profile views of electric and comm lines? I have profiles for the gravity systems (storm and sanitary) and water lines, where I am showing the electric and comm crossings, but given that pipe networks for these utilities is not easy to lay out, at a specific vertical offset from FG, it is not always easy to hug that offset line perfectly. I am curious if everyone is providing separate profiles for these underground utilities for more clarity.

Instead of using a pipe network, you could consider using some tricks with profiles and corridors.

 

Here is a post that describes a workflow where you make an alignment style to match your utlity and then a corridor to project onto profile.
