Profile View Movement in Paperspace

This is nuts. The view below is a profile in modelspace: (the pvi’s are aligned with the design linework)

Profile MSpace.jpg

The view below is the same profile through a viewport in paperspace:

Profile PSpace.jpg

The pvi’s are not located in the same spots, but the linework is offset vertically. This is for both profiles, existing (light green dashed line) and proposed (brown line) AND the profile view!

Civil 3D 2014, SP1.

Any ideas on why or how to fix?

Turn off grid padding in the profile view style. I think that's what it is called. There are two options for extra grids in the grid tab. Set them to 0.

Hello,

when it happens this, make this:

1. Go to Profile View Style => Grid tab

2. In the left bottom corner you can see Grid padding (major grids) and there put the value 0.

After this you will not have this problem. I think it's a bug.

Please look in attach.

Thanks, Setting the Grid padding (major grids) and Axis Offset (plotted units) to zero was the trick.
