... when I typed in layerhtm2 I got nothing ...
I believe the command would remain LayerHTM (case doesn't matter but no number 2).

you can put it in any folder right just so you go to that fiel when you first do netload right
You can put the DLL in any folder. Once it's loaded with NETLOAD one time, it registers itself for autoloading. The command is LayerHTM.
There is a comparable version in the PlugIns of the Month which includes source code.
It's a heavily used item and nobody has complained of it not working before (except LT users).
In AutoCAD's Layer Manager, do a Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C and paste into Excel?
