After spending at least 15 minutes on this subject, I don't see an easy way to set up a PVC pressure network. Do we have to re-invent the wheel?
Just asking!

Ok now that I've played some about the only thing you can do is add pipes so far that I can tell. when going through and adding pipes when you designate material, there is an option for PVC in there, make sure to select that. It will sort by material not pipe name, like I did HDPE SD9 and then HDPE sd11, it sorted by HDPE without the opiton to chose DR9 or 11, so I only got my dr9 parts. Seems to hit just the first size of the first option too, so if I have a DR9 part that's a 6 inch pipe and a dr11 same size, you'll always get the dr9, not a really good thing in my opinion, but hey it's a start. Keep that in mind when making your PVC parts, say you do C900 and C905 with the different DR numbers, you'll only get the first part it comes to in the first DR set.

You really want to avoid PVC in a pressure network, except when it comes to WW force mains and irrigation piping. Anything under 4" DI should be copper just as a basic practice.
I noted that I want to use HDPE and it will be 12". I was just searching and found this post so I added to it my mistake.
Has anyone figure out how to add PVC pipe to the pressure network parts list?
Not easy from what I've read. It involves using the content editer and modifying the .sqlite file.

Hopefully this helps.
Wow, that is some serious work, way to complicatd to use. I may see if I can cheat buy copying the standard parts list for ductile iron and just rename everything to PVC, PVC C900, etc...
Unless you can find someones sqlite file online for download. If you find one, post that puppy...lol
Yeah no kidding, no way in the world am I going to create a PVC list doing that, that would take me a week to create. Finding the online that someone else has sounds like the much better route. If I come across one I would be more than happy to share.
I have found one that has over 1000 parts to it. It has been great for me!! Shawn was awesome to work with. He even customized a couple extra for me at no charge! You should check it out.

Sorry for the blank message...technical difficulties.
The link is broken, any chance that you can post the pressure pip catalog file? I have been searching for PVC Pressure Pipe as well and haven't had any other luck.
