Okay, so not really a point group question in the way you think. I have a drawing that we obtained from an outside entity and we are having an odd issue pop up: when selecting a few points (this is a fairly large topo area) the propertires window states that they are a group of points, some "groups" being 3 points, some 7 points, and so on. These "groups" cannot be Exploded or broken apart by any other means. My suspicion is that the drawing was originally created in microstation and was "retrofitted" over to Civil 3D.
Any ideas on how to undo / break apart these groups?
Thanks!

Could these GROUPS have been created using the AutoCad GROUP command?
Try the UNGROUP command on a small GROUP. Now are they normal entities?
If that works run the UNGROUP again but enter A (for all) when prompted to select objects
and UNGROUP all GROUPS in entire dwg.
