Point Info

Is there anyway to enlarge the information that pops up when I scroll over a point. See attached picture for example. It cuts off the last part of the elevation of the point.

Do you really need 4 decimal places of precision? Will 2 places do?

Hi,

You may need to check your tooltips settings and modify them so that the display is what you require. Enter dsettings at the command line, click the Dynamic Input tab, and then click Drafting Tooltip Appearance.

I tried the dsettings but nothing changed. I could make text bigger in the display but couldn't make the box larger. I only need to see 2 places behind the decimal, but the box is cutting off half of the second number. Does everyone experience this or is this just my problem.

No perfect answer here, but a temporary workaround.

Go into the Settings Tab, right click on Points and Edit Feature Settings...

If you change the Elevation precision to 4, it will give you two whole
digits, with the third cut off.

Try that out.
