Plotting of Geospatial thematic map

ESRI SDE -> FME -> SDF with Civil 3D layer files.

Now I have a perfect themed map that looks like a design drawing with watermains in blue and points representing valves.  Ploting is next problem, design drawings are in black and white not color

It looks like CTB pen assignments in Plot style table don't effect geospatial features.

How do plot this?

Yes, plot styles do not apply to FDO features or styles. The work around is save/export the Map/DWG to AutoCAD dwg format then plot.

What about using STB to control plotting?

AFAIK still will not work with STB, FDO uses a whole different render engine to display and plotting just see's it as an image type object and ignores plot styles for it.

To bad, I wondering how to ask Autodesk for this type of option?

Now does this map export work in model space and paper space?

When using export map to dwg format it creates autocad layers based on the feature layers, and creates the features as standard autocad entities with the color and other properties as displayed in the feature layers. Any feature labels are converted to mtext and on their own layers. All feature data is in model space and any paper space objects stay in paper space.

Now the next problem, color is a RGB value and not a numbered color whick does not conform to a CTB file.  One problem after another trying to get Geospatial features representing engineering construction drawings.
