Plotting SID files

Anyone experiencing plot canceling when sid files
are attached? It has been plaguing me for a while now, and it does not happen if
I plot from the other application (LDT)

Do you have Raster Design? Is it up to date? If not did you install the
Raster Design Object Enabler? I am pretty sure you need one or the other for
08. Have you had success with sids previously?

Have Raster & SP1 & SP2

? The one raster hotfix online state for SP1 do you suppose it would hurt
anything if I tried to apply since I have SP2?

you can try using the old version of adimaging.dll
(ver 2007)

Put the older version into C:\Program Files\AutoCAD
Civil 3D 2008

This should fix your problem.

(version 17.1.51.0)

There was a great posting by Justin Ziemba on Being Civil regarding troubleshooting raster image plotting here:

http://beingcivil.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/04/troubleshooting-guide-for-plotting-raster-images.html

It solved an identical issue a friend was having.

Or this one 😉

Might want to be sure the users temp folder and mapcache folders get cleaned
out also.

Looks like that's the fix! I put those system variable settings in our
network acaddoc.lsp and every one stopped complaining.
