Please need help Depth analysis between two surface

 I have two surface ( OG surface and Gravel LIFT ), i need to have a table that Show me Depths range between those two surface with a color range, in a table and also to be able to see it in the the top surface.

 

Basically, In every Spot of the surface, need to represent a Depth range between the OG and the gravel surface by a specific Color.

Hello,

 

What you need to do is create a TIN Volume Surface. That surface will be the comparison between the other two. Simply apply Elevation syle settings and range values as you would for a normal surface, but these values will represent the differences in your two surfaces not actual elevations.

...And you can add surface labels on a grid over the surface if thats the kind of thing you like.

Thanks for this.

I had been over TIN Volume Surfaces several times and didn't understand it. 
My client has been asking if I could produce fill volume and lift reports and I just answered "yes" because I knew Civil 3D could do it.
All I managed to find by myself was Volumes and Minimum Distance Between Surfaces.

 

This is great and is another reason to not switch to Carlson!
