Plan Production with multiple views

I am trying to use plan production to generate sheets for a long, skinny corridor.  I wanted to put two plans onto a single sheet.

I have tried a few settings, but get a duplicate of the same plan.  Is this possible, or is necessary to do it manually.

Build a template that looks something like this, with a viewport that is double the width of the final product.

Once the sheets are created you can copy the viewport down to the bottom of the page and then stretch both of them to trim away the right half from the top view and the left half from the bottom.
