Pipe Networks

Should be an easy question.  While slow time at work, I have decided to play with pipe networks.  I have a sample run with manholes and pipes.  when I add a second line that will enter the first lines manhole, is it possible to click on the pipe and make it match the adjacent pipe invert or the manhole bottom?  With out going into the properties of the manhole and seeing the bottom elevation and then assigning that elevation to the pipe?

Nope, you have to do it the hard way I'm afraid unless you use vb.net.

I have not tried using rules but they will change everything, adjust all pipes in a structure when you want a backdrop so I don't use them.

There is a rule for matching inverts. See the attachment. I am not sure if this works after the initial layout but if you can give a test.
