Phantom Parcels - With a Twist

This is not the typical hidden/phantom parcel question. My issues arises with importing fieldbook files. Importing fieldbook files creates phantom parcels in the current drawing. If I delete everything in the drawing [Ctrl]A or delete the figures from the database, the parcels remain. Closed, Open, Ended.. all figures create these “parcels”. These parcels are not Parcels like the Civil 3D version of parcels. Below is a sample from “list”ing the objects in the drawing. Selecting [Ctrl]A they will show up in the properties dialog box but hitting delete will not delete them. All layers on, thawed and unlocked.
