Pasting surface with boundary overwrites other surfaces entire area

I have 2 surfaces with the same area. I have limited one with a boundary polygon limiting it's extents. When I paste the surface with the boundary, the resulting surface does not reflect just the bounded area. It results in the entire surface overwriting the suface being pasted on. Am I in error thinking it should just be limited to the bounded area being pasted. It looks like it....

Could you try moving the Add Boundary entry to the bottom of definitions in Surface Properties. Let me know if it helps.

I was able to get it working properly. I had a snapshot on a large surface, removed the snapshot and had to rebuild. Once rebuilt, everything started working as expected.
