Parcel Labels

Anyone know how to renumber parcels alphanumericly? I have existing lots that are alphanumeric (ex Lot C) and some numerically (ex Lot 101) and when I create the parcels I can only label them numerically. When I try to re lable them with a letter I keep getting an error saying I need a number. There must be a way around this. I have put in a text block for the lot number and changed the parcel label to just the lot size but they don't always stay together when I set up my viewports.

I am working in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008

Use the description property for the Letter based
lots....

Thanks, It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what description you were referring too but I was able to make a new Style to reference the description cell for the lot rather than the number and that worked.

You're welcome.

I was cryptic so you'd have to search for it, I know that this
kind of learning is retained far longer than if I told you exactly what to
do.
