Opening file within Autocad Civil 3D not Autocad (2014)

Hi,

When i installed Autocad Civil 3D, its installs:

1) Civil 3d 2014 metric

2) Autodesk AutoCad civil 3d as Autocad 2014.

etc...

When i try to open .dwg file (on windows 8.1), i want it to open using Civil 3d 2014 metric.

By right-clicking and setting the open with default file, the only option i get is "Autocad application" but I cant select open with Civil 3d 2013 metric.

Currently i open Autocad civil 3d metric, then i open the file i want to use. Is there a certain way of opening .dwg?

Regards

Mayank

You should have a desktop shortcut for civil 3d.

The application launcher should remember the last autodesk application you used so after you have opened a file you should be able to double click on a dwg and it'll open in civil
