My employer just set me up with a new "fast" computer. Since installing a fresh version of c3d 2012 Ive had some minor, but very annoying problems. This one I cant seem to figure out:
When trying to view a corridor with the object viewer any small rotation of the view rotates my corridor way out of the screens field of view. Once zooming out I can find the corridor and zoom back in, but every time I try to rotate, the same thing happens - super annoying! Plus this makes it impossible to get a good 3d look at what I am trying to do.
I noticed that when I start to rotate the corridor all associated feature lines that are connecting the links & points (etw, daylight) stay at a zero elevation and the object viewer rotates the model about a point somewhere in between the corridor and that "zero" elevation, as shown in the attached image. The only way I have been able to view the model is to turn off all feature lines through the corridor properties.
I am hoping there is some setting to fix this problem since it was never an issue on my last computer which was running c3d 1012 as well. Any help is appreciated.
Your corridor is in 3d and the features appear to be in 2d.
Select only the corridor, right-click, select Object Viewer from the shortcut.
Thanks, but no luck. The feature lines are automatically grouped in when I click on any part of the corridor. Is there an option to show the feature lines in 3d when trying to view your model in 3d?
