Object Enablers for versions <2004?

I've done my plat in C3D 2006, and have sent it to someone that cannot
see any of the Civil3D parcel objects. I have a feeling that they are
using LDT3. I looked on the website and there were no Civil 3D Object
Enablers that I could see. Is there any way to use the ones released
for 2004/2005 to see the objects?

If not, what's the best way to get these objects to be seen? The way
I've come up with is to explode everything through a viewport so they
keep the correct size and location. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Darron Agawa

If you use file-> export to autocad it will turn all your objects into Autocad objects, ie lines mtext blocks etc.

Thanks. I guess this would work. I was using the eTransmit to save down
to 2000. Funny that it didn't do this automatically. I may be missing
this in my transmittal set-up. Take a look at the attached png and tell
me what's missing.

Weird! in Civil 2D 2006 they've removed the eTransmit option to save as
R2000 with exploded AEC objects.

Actually, I remember seeing it the other week, but something might be
messed up on my machine. I just need someone to verify that's what is
missing.

I found under the File Format pull-down the choice for "AutoCAD 2000
Drawing Format with Exploded AEC Objects". I still don't know what is
missing next to those check boxes.

Even weirder - I just checked again - still no exploded AEC objects option,
did a few more commands, checked a 3rd time, and now the option is there!
'Very odd...

Wow, I thought I was going nuts. I went back and looked again, and as
you said, it was gone. I've done a repair, and still haven't gotten it
back.

I did look in LE Map and it has all 4 File Format options.

Interesting...

I love this application's well-known consistency. 🙂
