Trying for the first time this year to open a civil 3d project in architecture, both 2015. This is something I've done regularly for years. This year, civil 3d 2015 seems more problematic than other years. I notice it being less stable and there are known bugs regarding the filter combo box in the ribbon.
At this point, I can open my civil 3d file no proble in civil 3d, but trying to open in architecture takes forever to open, switch layouts, or do just about anything.
Any ideas?
Hey Mike:
I would be glad to see if it does anything like that on my installation. I haven't received many "archies" in the last 6 years. (Something about the economy.)

Have you installed the C3D Object enablers? http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-civi...
Also ACA SP1 is out. http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-architecture/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-...
I'll try it out tonight and report back if I get the same behavior. (Only have 2015 ACA/C3D installed at home)
Well it got a bit slow when I opened up C3D drawings with lots of drefs. Almost like ACA was slowing down to reconcile them. Most were as snappy as a native ACA drawing. I didn't have any 2015 C3d drawings to open up just 2012, so file format *might* have something to do with it. Editing and switching between tabs was fine, not super quick but reasonable.
