No command line

My command line has disappeared after switching workspaces from Civil 3D to
Tool Spaced Geospatial and back to Civil 3D.
I tried resetting my CUI to no avail.
I am running the educational version.
Tried to install update #2 but it said system was up to date.

Does Ctrl+9 bring it back?

I love showing this one off in class, "Alright everyone, switch to your map workspace. Cool, now switch back to the Civil 3D workspace." I then wait for someone to mention it and I make fun of Autodesk.

Control-9 toggles the commandline on and off or you can type COMMANDLINE.

Now that you mention that, I never noticed it before. I do most of the map
stuff in map3d and hardly switch over to that workspace in C3D. When the
command line was missing I figured I either turned it off testing something
or never turned it on after a reinstall/repair.

Thanks all for the solution. I stumbled onto another: Switch to the simple
autocad workspace and the command line reappears and remains when switching
back to C3D!

I always thought it wasn't there because most queries etc don't need
the command line..
