Multiple Profile Grid Problem

Warning... I am new to Civil 3D (using Civil 3D 2010) and new to disscussion
group postings.

I have ajdusted my Profile View Stlye Settings and Band Style Settings for
my profile and it works great in a single profile view (see attached zip file image
SingleProfGrid01.jpg)
However when I create Multiple Profile Views, manually or with Plan
Production Create Sheets, I get grid lines that do not match up with the
grid ticks along the edge.(See attached zip file image ProfileGrid01.jpg)
I then ran thru the tutorial for Multiple Profile Views, and while at first
glance it looked good, when I zoomed in the grid is slightly off from the
ticks along the edge in the tutorial also. (see attached zip file image ProfileGrid02.jpg)

I have tried numerous differant settings in the Profile View Properties and
Styles, including the Vertical Axes and Grid and can not get it to look
right in the Multiple Profile Views.
I am guessing this is a combination of setttings not matching, but for the
life of me I can't figure out what or where.
I will try to attach a zip file with 3 jpg files for examples
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had a similar problem once, but it was with cross-sections. I was able to fix it by adjusting the start elevation on the sections until the grids came out right. I lowered the start elevation of the profile view grid one interval at a time until the lines matched correctly.

Second, is it possible that you have a style that has an "y" offset for the for the vertical axis grid ticks?

I just tried to adjust the start elevation but it does not allow me to
change my start elevation on the multiple views of the profile, I can on the
single profile view but the single profile view grid is working just fine.
Unless I am not looking at the correct place in the settings and styles. I
right click the grid, profile view properties, elevations, elevations
range...Neither Automatic height or user specified height Min allows me to
change them.

Another question, in the Profile View Properties, Information, Object Style,
I can set and edit a Profile view Style.... yet I can also set and edit a
Profile View Style under Elevations, Split Profile View Data.
I think it is the combination of these two that is messing up the grids on
my multiple profile views. I found a place in Profile View Properties,
Elevations, under Split Profile View Data where I can "Adjust Datum" to get
it to look right, but only if it is set to manual and only if I have not
used the program to "Create sheets" in a single drawing using "View Frames".
In either case I shouldn't have to manual change this if I want the
automation of civil 3D to work. I think I now also have a separate issue
with Create Sheets and View Frame Groups Settings that I need to
investigate.

Regarding your second question, where do I check and/or change "y" offset
for the vertical axis grid ticks? I thought the offsets shown on the
Vertical Axis tab of the Profile View Styles was for the text only? Unless,
again, I am not looking in the correct location...

Thanks for repyling, you've got me digging in the right direction, at least
I think I am.
Any more suggestion would still be greatly appreciated

I found the answer to my problem...

When creating the multiple profile views, I needed to change the split
station datum option to "Previous Major Grid" and all works wonderfully!
