Multileader Road Runner

Is this a desired behavior on a multileader?

Seems to do it for anything that is not left aligned. I think it was present in 2013 as well. I use multileaders for annotations a lot since it is easier to use them with the background masks and borders than mtexts.

Does the same thing here in C3D 2013.

Never thought to use an Mleader w/o the leader myself....

I'd say that workflow is not typical so the chances of getting it fixed are pretty slim for the near term.

I have to wonder: is it really any fewer clicks than applying text masks?

I think it does it all the way back to 2010 from what I understand. Got the reply of the team is looking into. So for sure it might never be fixed.

Actually I like it better than Mtext since I can use it so easy. I love the easiness in using general note style and the only one that comes close of acting as general note, but with multiple leaders capabilities is the mleader. So since the "wipeout" and the border are already integrated and just a click away or defined by mleader style, then I would use it anytime vs mtext. One object vs many that do the same.

I sometimes use multileaders with the text frame and masking turned on but no leader arrows.  I find it convenient for notes or labels that can be copied and then minor edits applied.  The frame and mask are dynamic so it saves having to redo them after editing the text.
