Material Compute problem

Hi. I have make a road with one alignment witch start from station 0 and end to station 0+722( in meter). When i make the corridor i create two baselines. Both starts from station 0 and ends to station 0+722. In the first baseline i place a region with an assembly witch has subassemblies only in the left side. In the second baseline i place a region with an assembly witch has subassemblies only in the right side . The left and right subassemblies are the same. When i compute the materials the area which civil 3d computes left and right subassemblies but only the left. So e.g. the pavement area with is equal in right and left side must be 0,70 sq. m. but it appears to be only 0.35 sq. m. The same from all shapes of my corridor. What is the problem? I believe that is something with the two baselines. But how to sosve that?

What version are you using?

If 2014 SP1 it could be This known issue where Material Volumes aren't properly calculated for both sides.

It's supposed to work in 2014 HF1 but reverting to that will present other issues that have been corrected in SP1.

2013 may work fine for this as with 2014 backward compatibility with 2013 was intoroduced in 2014.

There are several caveats with this but for the most part as far as I know most basic features switching

back and forth is possible.

The major differences are any new features that were added to 2014 wouldn't be available in 2013.

Gradings can also be a problem if brought from 2014 to 2013.

If you wish to install 2014 SP1 Here is the readme file.

Sorry I can't answer that question as I have no knowledge of virtual machine.

Maybe someone else here has tried a similar scenario.

The solution works. I use a virtual machine with civil 3d 2014 without sp1 and now the report is correct. tI also notice that with service pack 1 civil 3d does not recognize correct one of my shapes. that problem also does not exists without sp1. Huge problem

Indeed it is a huge problem.

I'm glad to hear you found a workaround for the time being.
