Grip editing the length for lots of match lines can be slow and tedious.
Unfortunately there isn't an option built into C3D to specify such a
value. If you could post it over in the wish list forum/group with some
more information on it's usage, that would be great.
How about creating a second VFG for the same alignment that uses a
second template whose plan viewport is a "little bit shorter" equal to
the amount that you would like the match lines to shorten by? The match
lines generated for this new VFG would be shorter, and should be at the
same stations. Then you can turn off the match lines from your original
group, along with the labels and just use the ones from the second VFG.
You'll also have to turn off the display of the VFG from the second VFG.
Let us know how this works out.
