Making Cross Section Views

Dear All,

            This is my first time to create cross section views using civil 3d (by the way I am using civil 3d 2012), I am having a hard time editing its x and y axis. I only need 1m-interval on both x and y-axis but I am always getting 10m-interval. I also want to see the name of my surfaces instead of using "existing and proposed elevations" (see in my x-axis label). Is there a "vertival exaggeration" function in civil 3d so I can see fully my section views? In addition, how can I control the hatch color of cut and fill in my section views? I only have hatch in my cut values but I dont know how to put hatch in my fill values. Kindly check attached image. I hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance.
