Make group created sections individual

We have municipalities which have requirements for sections to be together on one sheet.
And other municipalities which like to see sections on the profile sheet staggered above and below the profile.
Q. I would like to create multiple section views which creates sections quickly then move them to the profile sheets, without having them reset to their group plot style locations when certain changes or recoveries cause the sections to jump back to their original plot style location.

I'm creating individual sections now when creating these sheets, however on a long road it would be nice to create them as a group, move them, then somehow make them stay in place and not associate any more with a group section plot style.
