Machine hangs while using 3d orbit/object viewer

While using 3D orbit/object viewer command I get below messages & my machine hangs
Any clue? please advise

Errors

1) CiceroUIWndframe:acad.exe- Application error
2) Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Machine Specs are as below

1) Dell - OPTIPLEX GX520
2) RAM - 2 GB
3) Processor - 3.2 MHz Intel Pentium 4
4) Display adapter - Intel(R)82945G Express Chipset Family
5) Operating System - Winodows XP (SP1)
6) Available Physical Memory -1.41 GB
7) Total Virtual Memory - 5.11 GB
8) Available Virtual Memory - 4.10 GB
9) Page file Space - 3.12 GB
10) Page file - C:\pagefile.sys

I am thinking that SP2 of Windows should be in place. (?)
BTW, what version of Civil 3D?

I agree with Bill windows SP2 should be in place. It has been some time since SP2 has arrived. With the rest of your system specs looking fine you should no doubt be letting your machine have the most up to date OS.
