Low Quality PDF

I am having an issue creating pdf's from Civil 13.  Specifically, we typically use the Sheet Set Manager (SSM) to create our plans, but the patch plotting to pdf did not work (I think this is typical).  At the advice of another office we purchased AcroPlot.  We can now create a pdf plan set from the SSM, but it's not consistent...some sheets are fine, while others are blurry, and some just have a strange look to them.

Any thoughts on this from ACAD Land?

Thanks in adavnce!

We have good luck here using the built in DWG To PDF.pc3

Having said that, there are several settings within the pc3 which impact output quality if not properly set.

The supplied dwg to pdf.pc3 can't do hatch transparency very well at all

That's where we seem to running into trouble (areas with hatching), but again, it's not consistently that way

I use Bullzip PDF printer to print transparent hatches to pdf - not perfect but the best workaround I've found
