Several years ago I attended an AU class on rehab corridors and the subassemblies that can be used for this type of work. The instructor demonstrated an advanced subassembly which, if I recall correctly could smooth out the final grade of the profile to eliminate any sharp changes while still following the EG line as much as possible.
Does anyone know the name of this sub and where I can get it from, or is the whole thing a product of my imagination?

Hey Steve. There is a Rehab tab on the Tool Palette. I think you will find what you're looking for there.

I am aware of that tab but cannot find the particular sub that I am looking for. Are you familiar with it?

I think, but not 100, it's the OverlayBrokenBackBetweenEdges. I'm going to research this a little more.
Was this the class??

The file is attached.
Not quite a solution yet, but we're getting there. I tried loading the file that Fred posted but it's for the 2011 version and won't load into 2012. The subassembly name was there however - RehabWithSmoothing which gave me a chance to search Google again. The class was CV223-2 by Alan Gilbert at AU2010.
The problem now is how to get a 2012 version of the sub. Does Autodesk or anybody update the Caltrans Extension?

PS: Looking at this thread it seems not.

Reply to my Support Request on this issue. This email arrived last week, but I haven't had the time to post in this thread until now. I am not impressed, and not really surprised by this either.

Dear Steve,
Thank you for your patience for this case. I discussed with the concerned department for the availability of a PKT file with 2012 version however I was informed that it would not be available.
I am closing this case for now, please free to open a new case for any issue, we will be glad to assist you.
Sincerely,
